We cordially invite you to the 5th annual meeting of the ENP which takes place September 7th - 9th at "Collège des Bernardins" in Paris.
The ENP DAYS 2011 provide an unique opportunity for ENP researchers to network, newly recruited ENP students meet ENP faculty in an informal atmosphere and present accomplishments during their lab rotations, ENP students tutors and faculty tutors are invited to provide feedback about their missions.
Following suggestions from last year event, we made significantly more room for personal interactions. A large part of this year meeting is dedicated to poster sessions instead of formal presentations. Three poster prices (500€ each) will be awarded following evaluation by members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
This year international confirmed speakers are Seth Grant, Andréas Luthi, Raymond.J. Dolan… The ENP continuously strives to create new opportunities for scientific collaborations and to recruit new expertise into our network. This year we have invited our partners of the “European Joint PhD program” to present newly arising opportunities for collaborative projects with their universities.
In addition researchers of “Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité” (Supelec), one of France's prestigious “Grandes Ecoles” and a leader in electrical and computer engineering, will present posters on neuroscience related research projects. Supelec will also present potential collaborations with the ENP, envisioned to be similar to the successful PhD program partnership with the Foundation “Fondation Voir et Entendre”.
The ENP will further provide an update on its activities with an emphasize on its fundraising approach, we hope to engage with you in very constructive discussions about our future strategies.
The success of the ENP depends on your commitment, staying in Paris we hope we made it easier to accommodate the meeting into your busy schedule. This year registration is free. Nevertheless, for security and organizational reasons, you have to fulfill the registration form for your participation to the meetings at the “Collège des Bernardins”, and to inscribe you for the “Barge party”.
